After more than 25 years working in a wide variety of computer related areas, I have a broad range of experience from application development to hardware configuration to operating system support. I specialize in modeling for performance analysis and capacity planning using both simulation and queuing theory techniques.
I have experience with many computer languages including SAS, Pascal, COBOL, BASIC and assembly languages.
My most recent in-depth operating system experience is with IBM's MVS, Microsoft's Windows NT, and Unix.
In addition, I am familiar with several different data base architectures, transaction processing monitors and network protocols.
PUBLICATIONS I have published articles and papers in magazines and conference proceedings.
TEACHING My teaching experience includes both industrial and academic instruction.
PC EXPERIENCE More than 20 years building, using and supporting a variety of personal computers.
